The Opening Breach
Goldarion’s blade ignited with the furious energy of Rising Fury before his boots even locked onto the rain-drenched flagstones of Caelum Reach. Twenty feet above the wave-battered lower walls, the gale howled through collapsed stone archways, flinging heavy salt spray across the battlefield. Solas the Sun Warlord whirled, his sun-forged bronze armor blindingly bright even beneath the storm-darkened sky. Without hesitation, the frenzied titan focused his fury upon Dynarion, bringing down a heavy strike that shattered iron plating and rattled the warrior’s frame, driving Dynarion’s defenses down to twenty-one vitality.
Dynarion held his stance on the slick granite and immediately wove Regeneration of Maya, bathing his bruised body in restorative light to reclaim eighty-seven vitality. Seizing the opening created by the titan's heavy sweep, Goldspirit sprang forward, channeling spirit force into an Attack of Panda that bit deep for three hundred ninety-six critical damage. Chromalio darted beneath the broad arc of the boss's sword, executing a swift Toxic Bite for four hundred forty-two damage that coated the warlord's bronze pauldrons in emerald alchemical venom. Cyberpride completed the vanguard's assault, driving home a critical Attack of Panda for two hundred forty-four damage that sent sparks showering into the tide.
Venom and Shadow
The initial poison burned fifty-one vitality from Solas as he pivoted violently toward Goldspirit. Solas brought his heavy radiant blade down, scouring Goldspirit's outer armor for one hundred forty-one damage and triggering a blinding Solar Flare that momentarily obscured Goldspirit’s vision. Goldarion stepped inside the arc of the titan's recover, striking for one hundred seventeen damage, while Dynarion, Chromalio, and Cyberpride harnessed Regeneration of Furry to rapidly replenish their reserves. Blinded by the warlord's lingering solar aura, Goldspirit swept his blade through thin salt mist, missing his mark completely.
Solas lashed out at Goldarion next, his heavy sweep crashing against Goldarion's raised defenses without breaking through his eighty-three armor. Goldarion countered with a crisp hundred and eight damage strike. Dynarion pressed the advantage with an Attack of Panda for two hundred sixty critical damage, while Goldspirit recovered his focus. Chromalio leaped from a broken balustrade to deliver Shadow Piercer, driving his blade into the warlord’s throat for five hundred seventeen critical damage. The shadowy pulse silenced Solas's solar incantations instantly. Cyberpride seized the silence, landing a Weakening Slash for two hundred forty critical damage that left the titan burdened with a lingering offensive debuff.
The Shattered Mantle
Choked by silence and burning from the initial venom, Solas lost his momentum completely as another fifty-one poison damage tore through his internal wards. Goldarion opened the fourth exchange with a sixty-nine damage strike against the warlord's exposed flank. Dynarion stepped inside the boss's wide reach, plunging a poison-coated blade deep into a scale seam with Toxic Bite for two hundred eight critical damage.
Then came the defining moment of the assault. Goldspirit gathered the storm's momentum and lunged forward, executing a devastating Toxic Bite that carved through the warlord's defenses for nine hundred thirty-four critical damage. Virulent emerald venom surged across Solas's sun-forged breastplate, sizzling as cold saltwater washed over the stone. Chromalio followed with a clean two hundred forty-four damage strike, and Cyberpride brought down Thunder Cleave for one hundred thirty-nine damage. The concussive electrical discharge shocked the titan, binding his massive bronze limbs in static arcs.
Blinded in the Tide
Toxins continued their work, tearing sixty-four combined damage from the boss's vitality as the shock prevented Solas from reacting. Goldarion capitalized on the titan's paralysis, landing a critical strike for one hundred seventeen damage that carved a jagged groove into the warlord's knee guard. Dynarion surged forward with Blinding Spear, driving ninety-eight damage straight into Solas's radiant visor and overwhelming his sight with brilliant, disorienting light.
With the warlord reeling and completely blind, Goldspirit vanished into the coastal spray, re-emerging with Mist Veil to strike for seven hundred three critical damage. Chromalio and Cyberpride struck in rapid succession for two hundred eighty-three and ninety-four damage respectively. Solas swung his massive broadsword blindly into the gale, but the blade cleaved only rain and ocean air as dual poison ticks drained another hundred and four vitality from his failing frame.
The sixth and seventh exchanges broken the warlord's resolve. Solas lost his strike to total blindness while the vanguard converged. Goldarion landed a critical strike for one hundred thirty-two damage, followed by Dynarion's seventy-eight, Goldspirit's critical hit for six hundred thirty-eight, Chromalio's two hundred eighty-seven, and Cyberpride's ninety-seven. When Solas attempted to retarget Chromalio in the seventh exchange, Chromalio braced his shield to absorb the blow effortlessly, while the team answered with a barrage totaling nearly nine hundred damage.
In a final, desperate burst of frenzied strength, Solas ignited his mantle and swept his radiant broadsword across the entire army. The sweeping wave of solar heat smashed into their defenses, leaving Dynarion with ninety-three vitality, Goldspirit with one hundred thirty-six, Chromalio with thirty-three, Cyberpride defended, and Goldarion clinging to seven vitality. Yet the vanguard held their ground upon the flooded parapet. Standing amidst the cooling embers and roaring surf, Goldarion stepped forward and delivered a precise critical strike for forty-one damage, shattering the central sun-stone in Solas's breastplate. With a choked rumble that dissolved into the sound of the crashing tide, Solas the Sun Warlord collapsed onto the rain-slick granite of Caelum Reach, his solar mantle extinguished forever.
